Naturopathic Clinic

Embark on guided journey to optimal health, a holistic approach that seeks to improve health and treat disease by assisting the body's innate capacity to repair and heal.
Naturopathic Medicine is a distinct, integrated system of primary health care, consisting of the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of human disorders by the use of natural methods and materials.
Commonly treated health issues include:
- high blood pressure
- gastrointestinal irregularities

- weight imbalance
- mental and emotional issues
- peripheral neuropathy
- difficulties quitting smoking
The Naturopathic Clinic uses a pair of student clinicians work one-on-one with individual patients. In each pair, a fourth-year and third-year student work under the supervision of a licensed naturopathic physician. The supervising naturopathic physician has extensive experience with HIV treatment protocols, including pharmaceutical contraindications.
The Clinic uses the following process:
- First visit - patient history
Approximately one hour in length, patients are asked general and specific questions, including their primary medical concerns, past medical history, and family medical history - Second visit - physical exam
A head-to-toe assessment of the functioning of the body - Third visit onwards - treatment begins
On every visit the student doctors will check vitals - blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate and temperature. Since this is a student clinic you may also deal directly with the naturopathic doctor who is supervising the students
